We’re teaming up with Sunseeker in this sponsored post to introduce you to the Sunseeker 60V battery-powered lawn care tool lineup. Targeting professional and commercial lawn care crews, these trimming tools have what it takes to get the properties you’re paid to care for back in tip-top shape and keep them looking great.
Sunseeker 60V Batteries
Before we jump into the tools, let’s start with a look at Sunseeker’s 60V battery system. There are 4 packs to choose from. For standard batteries, there’s a 4.0Ah and an 8.0Ah pack. For high-capacity options, there are 15.0Ah and 25.0Ah backpack batteries.
No matter which battery you want to use, there are backpack harness options for you. The backpack batteries require you to use one. There’s also an option to use the standard batteries with a backpack harness. It’s a great way to keep the weight of even the smaller packs off of the tools and reduce the fatigue in your arms.
Both options features padded shoulder and hip straps that wear comfortably and allow you to carry the weight on your hips rather than your back.
For charging, you have the option of a 2.5-amp standard charger, 5.5-amp fast charger, or 8.0-amp rapid charger.
Sunseeker’s 60V brushless string trimmer has a powerful enough motor that it’s able to pull double-duty as a brush cutter as well. Producing 1800 watts, this 3-speed trimmer runs at 4500, 5200, or 5800 RPM.
A digital control display is where you’ll make all of your adjustments on the fly. There’s a power button to turn the trimmer on or shut it off, and a mode button to cycle between the 3 speeds. You’ll also be able to view battery the battery level, total operating hours, and any maintenance or error codes.
As a string trimmer, you get a 16.5-incn cutting swath and 0.095-inch maximum line diameter. As a brush cutter, it uses an optional 10-inch blade.
To deal with the additional hours of commercial use, Sunseeker packed the trimmer with an anti-tangling, low-noise, low-wear gear box along with a rigid drive shaft and retainer.
A soft grip handle aids in your overall comfort during operation, and the front handle has a quick connect system that makes installation and adjustments quick and easy.
At 10.4 pounds, the trimmer is lightweight and well-balanced. Plus, it’s IPX4 ingress rated.
As you’re considering models, there are two to choose from. The CBC7910P has a battery connection on the tool. You can either use a single battery directly on it or the battery adapter if you’re tethering to a backpack. The CBC7911P features a direct tether connection to a backpack battery. There’s no performance difference between the two—it’s all about which connection style you prefer.
Both models are also available in a bike handle configuration. You can find them with as model CBC7910U or CBC7911U.

Sunseeker’s 60V brushless hedge trimmer has all the features we look and adds a couple of nice bonuses. The brushless motor drives a set of dual-action, double-sided 30-inch knives at speeds up to 4000 SPM and produces 1200 watts. If you’re in a position where you want to preserve runtime, or you’re working on lighter trimming, you can also operate at 3600 or 3200 SPM modes.
The knives open up 1.5 inches to draw in branches, and they can handle cutting branches as thick as 1.2 inches.
You power the hedge trimmer up and select your mode on a digital control display—something we haven’t seen on other battery-powered hedge trimmers so far. In addition to mode selection, you can also view the remaining battery percentage, the total hours on the machine, and any error or maintenance notifications.=
A 5-position rotating handle helps you adjust as you trim at a variety of angles. To make the adjustment, pull the lower trigger and rotate to the position you want. While you trim, a soft grip handle ensures both control and comfort.
The trimmer weighs in at a well-balanced 9.3 pounds wrapped in a design that’s IPX4 ingress rated.

When you need to trim and shape larger landscaping elements, Sunseeker’s 60V brushless articulating hedge trimmer is the tool to turn to. With an 85-inch overall length, and an optional model with even more length, it has the additional reach you need. Thanks to an articulating head that locks into 11 different positions, you’ll also be able to trim at the appropriate angle.
The brushless motor produces 1800 watts and is geared to cut at 2800, 3200, or 3600 SPM on its 21-inch double-sided, dual-action knives. It also has the power to cut branches up to 1.1 inches thick.
As we’ve seen from the other tools, a digital control display takes care of powering the tool on or off with a separate switch to cycle the 3 modes. On the screen, you can also view the remaining battery percentage, total hours, and maintenance or error codes.
Similar to the string trimmers, there’s a soft grip handle that improves your comfort during operation, and a quick-release front handle that installs and adjust easily.
