Exmark Unveils Its V-Series 30-inch Battery-Powered Commercial Mower
Exmark is one of the leading names in commercial lawn care. While most of their mower lineup is comprised of gas models, we’ve been seeing more battery-powered solutions pop up over the last few years to keep up with the modern market. Most recently, the Exmark Commercial 30-inch V-Series mower made its debut at Equip Expo 2023. We’re looking at what this walk-behind mower has to offer and how it compares to Exmark’s gas models in performance and design.

The Exmark 30-inch V-Series commercial mower features a self-propelled design with two power train settings. It achieves ground speeds of up to 3.1 MPH in Low and 4.2 MPH in High.
A 30-inch cutting deck allows you to cover more ground per charge. In fact, Exmark tells us that using three 7.5Ah batteries, you can mow over an acre, or 80 minutes, per charge. Plus, when you’re running out of juice, the included rapid charger brings your batteries to 90% in as little as 90 minutes.
You can set the deck height from 1 inch to 4.5 inches in half-inch increments. At the business end, three 15.4-inch blades spin at speeds of up to 3600 RPM for an even, professional cut.

Like most walk-behind mowers, you can choose between bagging, mulching, or side discharge for your clippings. The Commercial 30 mower includes a 2.5-bushel bag, a mulch kit, and a side discharge chute.
Finally, Exmark tells us this mower uses the same welded steel cutting deck, wet clutch transmission, and self-tensioning belt drive as its gas-powered Commercial 30 mowers, ensuring you’re not sacrificing on durability.
