Ryobi One+ 18V Hybrid Cooler Review PI1824QBT

Ryobi Eliminates Ice Runs with the Hybrid Electric Cooler

Battery-powered technology seems to find its way into every nook and cranny of our lives, and we’re okay with that. Considering how far this technology has come in recent years, it’s no surprise that it’s popping up in recreational products as well as our power tools. Today we turn our focus to one such example, the Ryobi 18V Hybrid Cooler. So, what advantages does it hold over traditional coolers? Let’s take a look.

Ryobi 18V Cooler Performance

  • Set temperatures from -4°F to 68°F
  • Three power options: 18V battery, 120V AC adapter, or 12V car charger
  • Up to 23 continuous hours of runtime using two 9.0Ah batteries
  • Holds up to (40) 12oz cans with a 24-quart capacity

Gone are the days of running to the nearest convenience store to pick up bags of ice to keep your cooler’s contents cold. The Ryobi 18V cooler’s hybrid design lets you power it in three different ways: using an 18V Ryobi battery, a 120V AC adapter, or a 12V car charger. This means that as long as it’s connected to a power source, your food and drinks will stay cold without the need for ice.

You can set the cooler’s temperature from -4°F to 68°F, giving you the option to either freeze or refrigerate your contents.

Using two 9.0Ah batteries, the PI1824QBT cooler gets up to 23 continuous hours of runtime. If you’d like to extend your runtime indefinitely, you can also hook it up to an AC or 12V outlet for all-day cooling.

For storage capacity, the inside of the cooler has a capacity of 24 quarts and can store up to forty 12oz cans.
