Milwaukee has launched a new M12 TrapSnake urinal auger, model 3574, which looks to be an update to the original 2574 model that was introduced in 2017.

The new Milwaukee M12 TrapSnake is part of a modular system, allowing users to select between manual and powered drivers and different auger attachments depending on the application.

Milwaukee boasts that the TrapSnake delivers “versatility and capabilities never seen before in a urinal auger.”

The auger features a patented cable lock, for holding the cable in place during extension and retraction, and a fixed rubber boot to help prevent porcelain scratches.

This particular configuration, with a 3/8″ x 4′ urinal auger configuration, is recommended for use in drains 1-1/4″ to 2″ wide. Common applications includes clearing out clogged urinals and floor traps.
