Having just updated their John Deere zero-turn mowers, John Deere has released the 2021 line of lawn tractors. New models come designed with increased power, performance, and operator comfort. Between the 100 Series, 200 Series, X300 Select Series, and X500 Select Series model lines, John Deere gives homeowners a range of mowing options to suit their specific yard.

John Deere 100 Series Lawn Tractors
Designed for the first-time homebuyer, the 2021 John Deere 100 Series Lawn Tractors prioritize ergonomics and modernized styling. That includes a sleek front bumper and a comfortable open-back seat.
These lawn tractors have side-by-side froward and reverse pedals to simplify controlling the hydrostatic transmission. An easy-to-read fuel gauge and Easy Change 30-second Oil Change System make ownership even easier. When it comes time to change your oil, you won’t need to drain your engine oil or deal with any mess. Simply twist on the cartridge that includes both the oil and filter.
John Deere also designed the 2021 100 Series Lawn Tractors to work with the optional rear baggers. These install in less than 5 minutes with no tools. Mulch covers and mulch kits are also available.
The 100 Series lawn tractors can also connect to the MowerPlus app, which displays fuel level, battery state, and hour meter information. This feature is available on all of the 100 Series models (except the S100 and S110).

John Deere 200 Series Lawn Tractors
The next step up in the line of 2021 John Deere Lawn Tractors, the 200 Series, offers upgraded cyclonic engines and top-of-the-line Accel Deep cutting decks. These decks maintain excellent cut quality at faster mowing speeds.
The S200 lawn tractors are compatible with the MowerPlus deluxe Smart Connector and MulchControl kits. They feature many of the same amenities provided by the 100 Series lawn tractors.

John Deere X300 Select Series
For homeowners who have a bit of experience with lawn care and demand more versatility from their mower, John Deere has designed the 2021 line of X300 Select Series Lawn Tractors.
These mowers feature increased horsepower that optimizes the line for use with a wide selection of carts and bagging systems. The X300 Select Series also features the one-touch MulchControl kit and the Accel Deep mower deck (in 42″, 48″, and 54″ deck sizes) for high-quality cuts.
All of the models in the X300 Select Series feature hydrostatic transmission with TwinTouch forward and reverse pedals as well.
The 2021 John Deere X300 Select Series Lawn Tractors also ramps up the operator comfort with 18″ automotive-style seats. The updated seats feature uniform vinyl thickness, more foam, and an embroidered John Deere logo.

John Deere X500 Select Series Lawn Tractors
Finally, the 2021 line of John Deere Lawn Tractors features the X500 Select Series. These mowers offer even more performance, comfort, and convenience features.
The lineup offers heavy-duty iTorque Power System engines. The Accel Deep cutting decks come in 48″ and 54″ widths to cover more ground. Some of the models in this line even feature 4-wheel steering for tight turning to help navigate around trees, planter boxes, or any other obstacles.
Traction assist is also an option on select X500 mowers. This foot-operated control locks the rear transaxle so that both wheels work with maximum traction, particularly helpful with tougher terrain.
Lastly, the X500 Select Series offers options for a hydraulic deck lift system, tilt steering, MulchControl kits, and 21″ comfort seats.
