Home Depot has new tools of the day, featuring Milwaukee, Dewalt, Ryobi, Ridgid cordless power tools, hand tools, and accessories.
There are a couple of new deals, but we’re considering this a “second chance” type of deal, with repeats from Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and early holiday season promos.
These deals end at 3am EST 12/5/23 unless supplies sell out sooner.
Following are some of the more interesting tool deals from today’s sale:
Milwaukee M12 Cordless Stapler with Fastener 3-Pack – $227
You get Milwaukee’s cordless electrical cable stapler, plus 3x boxes of 600 insulated staples. The tool sells for $229 by itself, and the 3-pack of staples sell for $44.97 (or $20 per box).
However, in price-checking the value of the deal, I discovered a different deal:
Milwaukee M12 Cordless Stapler with 1800 Staples OR Battery – $229
This deal shows that the deal of the day only saves you $2, but I would have otherwise completely missed it. You can choose the 3-pack of 600 staples for $2 more (but why?), or opt for a free High Output battery.
Milwaukee M18 Fuel Sawzall Reciprocating Saw, Mid-Torque Impact Wrench, 2x Batteries – $359
This seems like a great bundle deal.
Milwaukee M18 Fuel 3-Tool Cordless Woodworking Tools – $612
This is an example of an okay deal, but there are better ones. Thee bundle comes with a jig saw, router, and brad nailer.
Instead, I would buy the brad nailer alone for $249, and I would get the jig saw and router as the free tool from the “buy a starter kit get a free tool” deal at $199 each. The cost for all of this would be $647 ($199 + $199 + $249). For $35 more than the deal bundle, you get 4x batteries and 2x chargers.
Milwaukee M18 Fuel 2-Tool Combo Kit with Blower – $349
This is the same as the “buy a cordless hammer drill and impact driver combo kit, get a FREE tool” deal, but saves you an extra $50.
Ridgid 18V 8-Tool Cordless Power Tool Combo Kit – $549
A reader recently complained about missing out on a Ridgid cordless power tool bundle deal and was still looking for a good buy. How about this one?
Dewalt 20V Max Atomic Cordless Drill Kit with 30pc Bit Set – $99
The drill kit is a $99 special buy, and the bit set a $10 special buy. You save $10 on the bundle, or you can think of like buying the drill kit and getting the bit set for free.
Milwaukee M18 Fuel Circular Saw with Rocket Tower Light and 2x Batteries – $379
There have been a couple of different M18 Rocket light bundles. Home Depot has tons of them in stock – I’d bet we’ll see more deal bundles later this month.
Ryobi 18V HP Cordless Table Saw – $199
If you’re a Ryobi 18V cordless power tool user, their brushless 8-1/4″ table saw is on sale. Or at least it’s included in this bundle deal – I haven’t been keeping an eye on the price.
Milwaukee 50pc 1/4″ Mechanics Tool Set – $79.97
I bought this socket set a few holiday seasons ago, and would buy it again at this price. You save around $20 off its seasonal “special buy” price. Other authorized retailers have it for $100 right now.
Milwaukee 21pc Hole Saw Set – $89.97
Need some hole saws? I’ve seen this deal recently, and it seems to be a good price for the sizes you get. You save around $10 off its seasonal price.
Milwaukee Packout Tool Bag with Zippered Bags – $69.97
The 20″ Packout tool bag is priced at $65 right now, as a special buy, and so you’re getting the 3pc zippered pouch set for $5 more. The pouches are sold separately in the 3-pack for $22.
