Milwaukee M18 Fuel Dual-Trigger Braking Grinder

Milwaukee M18 Dual-Trigger Braking Grinder Brings More Control and Safety

Angle grinders have a ton of uses. As you might expect from the name, they’re used for grinding, but they can also cut and abrasively scrape paint, rust, and other surface coatings, as well as smooth concrete surfaces. Milwaukee has several angle grinders in its lineup, but today we’re focusing on the M18 Dual-Trigger Angle Grinder to see what it does differently.

Milwaukee Dual-Trigger Angle Grinder Performance

  • Model: Milwaukee 2986-20
  • Max speed: 8500 RPM
  • 4 speed settings
  • Dual-trigger activation
  • Side handle trigger
  • Brushless motor
  • Overload protection
  • AutoStop kickback control
  • RapidStop braking technology
  • One-Key compatible

The Milwaukee 2986-20 angle grinder features a dual-trigger design that requires two-handed operation. Two paddle triggers— one on the main barrel and another on the side handle— provide improved control while ensuring jobsite safety compliance.

This tool’s brushless motor delivers four speed modes, with speeds ranging from 3500 RPM to 8500 RPM.

Additionally, the 2986 is also the first Milwaukee angle grinder to feature AutoStop kickback control. This technology powers down the tool in the event of extreme movement, which helps prevent injury caused by kickback. RapidStop braking stops the wheel rotation in less than one second, letting you set the tool down quickly after use and further promoting safety.

Moreover, this angle grinder is compatible with Milwaukee’s OneKey system, letting you sync your tool with your mobile device or laptop to keep track of its location.
