Ridgid’s long-awaited battery-powered chainsaw uses a brushless motor to deliver up to 100 cuts per charge. It also features a variable speed trigger that lets you adjust your chain speeds up to 10 m/s. With a 12-inch bar and chain length, the R01101 gives you a cut capacity of 10 inches.
Additionally, this chainsaw employs a chain brake that quickly stops the chain’s rotation, helping protect you from kickback.

This chainsaw keeps a lightweight design, at just 7.5 pounds as a bare tool. Adding in the 6.0Ah battery that’s included with the kit, the weight sits at 9.1 pounds, which is still very manageable.
