EGO T6 42-inch Lawn Tractor

Ditch the Gas Can With EGO’s 42-inch Lawn Tractor

EGO has some pretty cool additions to their 56V lineup coming up in the next few months, including everything from string trimmers, blowers, augers, snow blowers, and mowers. We want to dive into the latter category and take a look at the Ego T6 Lawn Tractor. As the brand’s first traditional riding mower, we’re going over what this tractor has to offer ahead of its official launch.

The EGO TR4204 lawn tractor features dual brushless and belt-free cutting motors that deliver the equivalent of 21 HP in a gas-powered tractor. It runs on the brand’s 56V batteries, and you can power it with up to six batteries at a time, giving it a whopping 20,000 watts of power output at the top end. Using six 6.0Ah batteries, EGO tells us you can expect to mow up to 1.5 acres per charge.

It features three blade settings and three drive speeds, as well as cruise control. You can also adjust your cutting height in twelve settings between 1.5 inches and 4.5 inches.

An LCD display ties everything together, letting you choose your cutting speed and drive mode, as well as keep track of your charge levels in each battery slot. While we don’t yet know for sure what the screen looks like, we have a feeling it will be similar to the display on EGO’s E-Steer Zero-Turn Mower.
